Student Success Tips Social Campaign

THE SITUATION

Inspire and empower students to succeed in their studies through a series of tips that have been cultivated from experienced AIU staff.

THE challenge

Students are passionate about their degree pursuit but aren’t always proactive about planning, time management, and taking advantage of the resources at hand. They are also frequently pressed for time with all of their responsibilities, so providing them with success tips in a “quick hit” format on social media is an optimal delivery method to surface this important information and keep it top of mind.

THE Solution

We created interesting expressions that relate back to the success tips. Using a bit of humor to evoke a can do attitude.

THE SITUATION

The ask was to “tease” each success tip. Through the use of infographics and a short caption gives context to the photography driven expressions. The other ask from the brief was that the captions and graphics tie to online education. For example, “Don’t forget to save!” or “Always have a backup plan.”

CONSISTENCY
Let’s remind our students that logging in and participating every day makes the difference in their learning experience and grades.

INTELLIPATH
Don’t forget – you can raise your intellipath scores from any unit at any time before the end of the session. Simply go back and complete or revise the intellipath lessons!

BACK-UP PLAN
Have a back-up plan for your back-up plan in place to access a computer with Internet just in case you encounter technical difficulties.

COMMUNICATION
Our students should never be afraid to ask us questions. In fact, that’s exactly why our advisors are here. Let’s let them know we’re here to answer their questions and improve their learning experience.

Don’t forget that our AIU librarians can help with your research needs!

FOCUS
A student’s focus and attention can make all the different in their grades. Let’s remind them in an engaging way that’s disarming while still getting our point across.

TUTORING
We believe learning happens in lots of different ways. And sometimes that’s one-on-one help. That’s why we created the Learning Center on our Virtual Campus for tutoring help when our students need it.
